I'm just going to run through how I'll structure this blog, so that the reader gets a fair overview of how it's going to work. My two main types of post will be core posts and accessory posts. Core posts will cover basic sciences - factual information - while accessory posts will branch out a bit to points of interest that may or may not be absolutely essential (we might, for example, look at a research paper and unravel it to its comprehensible basics, once we've covered the science behind it).
My first core post, coming in the next week or so, will cover the basic molecules of life, DNA and proteins, without which we, and all cellular life around us, would cease to exist.
Nobody really likes learning. People say they do, but they don’t really mean it. Most folk want to be outside, or at the pub. We don’t like learning, but we like reading blogs when we should be working. So hopefully the format of this information is a bit more entertaining to assimilate than a massive textbook, or a bland, featureless Wikipedia page.
Here's a final promise: there will be pictures.
